Have you been keeping up with the basketball scores for this year’s NCAA championship? We’ve been doing our own mattress bracket matching up all of our favorite options that will help you get better sleep. Now we’re ready for the last four mattresses to face off! Here’s what happened in the last round.

The Beautyrest Black Beyond Susan Ultra Plush brought its A-game to the matchup, but Beautyrest TruEnergy Brielle Plush Firm came out on top in this nail-biter. The Ultra Plush almost had it with Advanced Pocketed Coils that counter every move with impressive support and motion separation. But TruEnergy’s Recharge Sleep System barely squeaked out a victory by offering a refreshing night of sleep. This might be the Cinderella story of our bracket. We’ll see how the Brielle does matched up against ComforPedic New Life Plush Firm in the next round.

The New Life was very evenly matched with the Beautyrest Black Abriana Extra Firm. This Simmons mattress is a popular choice among people looking for serious back support and a long life, thanks to a 20-year warranty. But the New Life uses new memory foam technology that keeps cool air flowing all night long.

On the other side of the bracket, we saw the TempurPedic Contour Signature Firm face off against another familiar ComforPedic mattress, the Key Largo Ultra Plush, which also goes by its online name of ComforPedic Lanai. It was a matchup of no-coils versus no-coils as TempurPedic’s latex took on ComforPedic’s memory foam. In the end, the Ultra Plush offered a soft place to slumber the night away.

The final matchup saw Beautyrest Black Brooklyn Plush Firm face off against another TempurPedic, the Cloud Supreme Ultra Plush. This one could have gone either way, but the Brooklyn’s GelTouch layer and individually sculpted cushions stood firm against the responsive pillow-top feel of the TempurPedic.

It was an exciting weekend of competition, with the best mattress options in the nation vying for the title. Regardless of who came out on top in the bracket, we’d pick any one of them for the win in new bed shopping.
